Der skal ikke v\u00e6ske i gryden. N\u00e5r sukkeret smeltes, dannes der v\u00e6de. T\u00e6nd p\u00e5 meget lavt blus, og lad sukkeret smelte. Hvis kompotten stadig er varm, er den meget flydende. Det g\u00f8r dog ikke noget for det f\u00e6rdige resultat. Bag kagen ved 200 grader i ca. 20 minutter til overfladen er gylden.
